Evaluation of the MOOC
The objective of this project is to develop, implement and evaluate an international Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for the continuing professional development of midwives, focusing on Evidence-Based Midwifery Practice.
We are committed to providing accessible Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for midwives using open access content under Creative Commons Licensing 4.0, which allows for free access to the course and all associated activities and materials.
All activities relating to this course may be used for the purposes of evaluation and research including participant’s written or verbal contributions recorded on this site. Research into learner contributions will only use anonymised data. Consent will be assumed if you register for this course. You can opt out from further participation by refraining from logging in to the site.
We will also draw on survey data to evaluate and the course and study learning, and you will be offered opportunities to participate in surveys over the coming weeks. After the course we would also like to ask some participants for an interview. Participation in these surveys and interviews is voluntary.
